Australia Uncut: The Truth
53The Truth About Australia
For all the Yanks and Pommes out there (I personally reckon your accents are super awesome), Here are a few facts about Oz that you may have not known:
Fact 1: Sorry to be disappointing, but we dont ride kangaroos to school. I have been constantly asked this question online, either by sarcastic people or the dumbies who need to read this. Kangaroo riding isn't prohibited, buts it is pretty stupid. If a kangaroo can mush a car, what hope do you have?
Fact 2: Instead of riding our National Emblem, we shoot it. Yes, Australia is the only nation that shoots and eats its own National Emblem. Kangaroo is great in stew, as fish bait and in damper. If you ever have the chance to try some, do it---you won't be disappointed.
Fact 3: Ozzies DONT have accents, we reckon America, England and other countries have accents. We have a plain, boring old accent, but to you guys we probably do have one---funny how that works.
Fact 4: Australia is the largest island in the world, so it makes sense that we have beautiful beaches and crystal-clear water. But, as always, with beauty comes a price, so basically when we are surfing and stuff we got hell big sharks near us. The most famous--- The Great White Shark (as pictured below). But dont think you will die or anything, actually, you have a larger chance of death by falling coconuts than you do shark attacks.
Some of our lovely Flora and Fauna------Redback Spider, Funnel Web spider, Blue-ring octopus, taipan, tigersnake, Box jellyfish, stonefish and Big Sharks. But dont let them put you off, come to Australia!
Fact 5: If you ever meet an ozzie online, chances are he/she says they surf. Dont believe them.
Hope you learnt something new. please comment your view. Thanks a lot!

Great Info on Aussies.
However the picture is not real. It is a doctored image, done in photoshop. You can see both original pictures(of the helicopter's and the shark's) here http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/blsharkattac
(It's a composite of a U.S. Air Force photo (inverted) of an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter during a rescue diver training session in San Francisco Bay and a still shot of a great white shark breaching the ocean surface by acclaimed underwater photographer Charles Maxwell.)
Best Regards

What hope to you have? is one of your sentences and i think you mean " what hope do you have" it is in the second paragraph. 2 alot is spelled a lot so when you say " thanks alo" you have spelt it wrong.
However you made a very good hub though. I never knew that you ate kangaroo. Does it taste like chicken?
